Learn what works for you in the advertising of your program. If you are with an affiliate program try to get a splash page that will reflect some of your personality. The same page presented by lots of people will lose peoples attention. If you have your own website then use it to get others to your affiliate site.
Search engines like Google are looking for original works to list. Even your own mini ads in the form of banners can take on your personality to show people to your site.
